This is a silver-plated metal trivet made in the Arabesque form by Christofle of France. The piece is stamped Gallia, Prod Christofle, France and with the quality guarantee mark used between 1935 and 1983. The piece measures 7 3/4 square with a height of 3/8. The metal is uniformly tarnished - Ive decided to leave it as is as I find the look very attractive, but you can polish the piece should you wish. Otherwise, there are no dings, dents or other perceptible wear. This is a wonderful quality trivet - attractive look!
